Allie & Grant

We kicked off wedding season this past weekend by celebrating the marriage of our beautiful friends Allie & Grant:

Allie is a Gamma Phi and Grant was a Beta, so obviously it was a match made in Jamie & Drew heaven. :)

Pretty friends:

The ceremony was held at a church right outside Crown Center. It was absolutely beautiful, as you knew it would be with Allie in charge.

And, the best part of a Catholic wedding? The time between the ceremony and reception of course! We headed to the Cashew to kill some time. Look, Meggy is feeling better:

Heather & Timmers:

Time to introduce a new friend! This is Aub:

Aub was a gift to me from my friend Laurie back in college. He came to live with me, Katy, and Jaime when we lived in a (haunted) house on the Plaza. He was sort of our protection from ghosts, mice, axe murders.

Then, when Jaime moved to Dallas, we sent Aub with her. Now that she's been there for a few years and trusts that Brian can handle things, she decided to bring Aub back to KC to live with Katy:

Once, while living with these girls, I turned out the lights and crawled into bed and who did I find there under the covers but Aub??? Not funny girls!

On our short drive over to Union Station I got super excited when I spotted a Hospital Hill billboard. As of next Saturday, I am Hospital Hill:

We ran into a snafu when we drove through some construction and ran into a road block. Luckily it wasn't something a couple of gals in heels couldn't take care of:

Now, I don't think I mentioned that Drew didn't quite make it to the ceremony. Remember that second keg from Friday? Well, it may or may not have negatively affected Drew's wedding day attendance. He was a trooper and made it off the couch for the reception:

Pretty sure Aub wasn't invited. Wedding crasher:

The Gibsons:

Ummm... Melinda is always up for a fake picture when I see sparkles:

The happy couple:

I had never been to a reception at Union Station, but it was fabulous! And of course Allie looked stunning:

Mr. Parker & Auntie Heather:

Sam in her second outfit of the night because "someone" spit up on the first dress:

Aub was double fisting it with the wine all night:

And of course Meggy was being a drama queen all night:

Such excitement:

More excitement:

The beautiful bride, rocking out to some Madonna:

When Allie first came to K-State, people used to always mistake me for her. Biggest. Compliment. Ever.

Miss Kaitlin, recovering from her Bomb Pop hangover:

Pretty girls:

Heather & Tim Tim hit the dance floor pretty hard:

And so did the Burleys. Best dance face ever:

Congratulations Grant & Allie! The wedding was absolutely beautiful (and fun!). We wish you the happiest life together!
