I've been going to yoga class at 24 Hour Fitness for several weeks now and I love it!!! Seriously, I feel amazing afterward. I love the teacher and all of the people in class... most of whom are super old... and one of whom I accidentally walked in on in the bathroom today. Still, I love it.
Until today I was wearing what I always wear to workout: running shorts. I don't really have anything else to wear... maybe running tights. But I can see that getting embarrassing when I try to do a warrior pose and my pants split right down the middle. I always feel out of place in my running shorts. One time I tried to wear some old (super old) cheerleading shorts... you know the Sofee or Soffee or whatever they are called. I was in downward dog and caught a glimpse of my underwear in the mirrored wall behind me. Awesome.
Finally! I'd had enough. If I'm going to stick with this, I need to look the part. So before class I made a Target run and picked out a pair of yoga capris from a whole wall of yoga pants. I felt like a real yogi at class today! Check it out:

Ari will now demonstrate Downward Dog.

How am I supposed to use my self-timer with all these fame-whore dogs around???
Here's the part I'm confused about... what is up with the waist band on yoga pants? It says "roll waist" so I rolled it down... but why is it like that? I mean look at this thing:

Fat pants?
It goes up to my sports bra! Is it so if I get knocked up I won't have to buy new yoga pants?

"Hello! I'm Mya. I'm so pretty!!"
Our yoga teacher told us today that if we want to see improvements in our yoga practice, we need to do it at least three times a week. Three times! They only offer yoga on Tuesdays at 24. How on Earth am I supposed to perfect my vinyasas?? I'm gonna need more pants.
