"What are you looking at? Do I have something on my face?"
I decided to make them again for the game today, but feeling slightly pressed for time I took the easy way out and bought Pilsbury pre-made dough. (I feel like Trophy Wife is crossing me off her blogs to read list as I write this!) Big Mistake! This is why I don't use store-bought cookie dough:
Is it a Power Cat or a bear??? Either way, it was ugly. Worse yet, it tasted like crap. I didn't even bother icing them. Power-bears are now in the trash. You know it's bad when I don't even want to eat the dough. Blech. I wrangled up some peanut butter swirl brownies to take to the tailgate instead, because you can't go empty handed. And when cookies have me down I like to turn to peanut butter. They are really crumbly and falling apart, but they taste amazing! You have to either be pretty or delish to meet my high standards.
Random story before I get into the actual post today; About a year and a half ago (or whenever this movie was in theaters) my dad was offered a pretty sweet job in Jefferson City, MO. He & my mom were giving it a lot of consideration, and honestly I thought he was going to take it. Well, then they decided to go to the movies and see The Bucket List. Apparently something that Morgan Freeman or Jack Nicholson said was really life changing because after the movie my dad decided not to take the job. When I asked him why, his response was, "Life is too short to live in Missouri." I'm not kidding, that's what he said. Old people are funny.
